About our name
A sistrum is a musical instrument dating back to antient egypt. The instrument was often carried by the goddess Hathor, who used it to "drive evil from the land and inspire goodness."
We've seen Hathor from our history books - a goddess with a crown made of a red orb encased by horns of a cow or ox.
For our logo we have taken her sistrum, which also looks like a light bulb, and married it with her red orb which represents life. Life and light. Life without evil and land without darkness.
